City Sanitation Worker Struck by SUV and Seriously Injured in Pittsburgh Area
February 6, 2012 - EAST LIBERTY, PA (CBS / KDKA Pittsburgh) - A sanitation worker is in critical condition after he was struck by a SUV in East Liberty Monday morning. Local residents living in the 5000-block of Black Street in East Liberty witnessed the sight as the worker collected the trash during his morning rounds. This is yet another example of teh hazards faced by sanitation workers every day.
